The Varsity 8th grade football team controlled Northville Hillside 20-0 last night. Ali Taha scored on a 60 yd run, a 75 yd kickoff return, and a 27 yd pass play from QB Issac Burgess. Dino Aldo, Bryan Klosterman, and Stratt Schock, led the offense with consistently good blocking. Beppin Serraj, Alex Capara, Matt Kulie, and Darius Mc Cullough led the defense in securing the shutout. The team will next travel to Northville Meads Mill on Wed. The JV 7th graders defeated Hillside Middle Wednesday evening by the score of 30-6. The team put on another display of team work with Even Davis scoring on a 38 yard touchdown run, and Michael Mitchell add the 2 point conversion, Kevin Lee also score his first touch down from 5 yards out and Evan Davis score the 2 point conversion. In the 3rd quarter Ryan Kobakof scores on a 30 yard T.D. and add the 2 point conversion. The defense was led by Josh Pelgrin with 5 solo tackles, Joey Haddad, Jared Engebreston, and Jim Hole. The defense score there first touchdown of the year with Jim Hole breaking through the line and taking the hand off from the Hillside quarter back and running 55 yards for the final score of the game. Both teams play at Meads Mills next week. |
