The 8th grade football team ran into an excellent Walled Lake Middle School squad, dropping a 41-8 decision last night. Ali Taha scored on a 70 yd run, while Issac Burgess added the conversion. Beppin Serraj, Matt Kulie, and Scott McClure gave good defensive efforts for the Cats. The next game will be at home Wed against Hillside. The 7th graders defeated Geisler Middle School by the score of 12 to 0. The defense was led by Josh Pelgrin, Patrick Wojotylo, Jared Engebretson, along with the rest of the mean green defense. The offense score on their first play with an 87 yard end around dash by Even Davis for the first T.D. of the game. In the second quarter Kevin Li set up the second score of the game with a 40 yard run to the 5 yard line, the drive was finished off with Evan Davis scoring his second T.D. of the game with from 5 yards out. The next game for both teams is next Wednesday at home against Hillside Middle School. |
