Oakland Press Preview
The 2009 season previews are starting to hit the papers.  Here's what the Oakland Press had to say about Novi this week:

Novi Wildcats
LAST YEAR: 7-3, 5-0, lost to Novi Detroit Catholic Central, 15-12, in a Division 1 district semifinal
    WHY THEY’LL WIN:
Being a fast, hard-working and fundamentally sound team is normally what Novi is, and the Wildcats figure to be so again. Novi could also throw some teams off, because Tab Kellepourey said he’ll play as many as five quarterbacks this season. Leading the returning players are senior LB/RB Tom Symansky, junior RB/LB Krister Engja, senior OL Ryan Margrave, senior OL Ryan Jok, senior DL Jordan Jabbori, senior LB/RB Jim Pitcher, senior QB/WR James Guerney, senior WR Justin Hopton, senior QB Brandon Rydzewsky, senior QB Tim Hartland, senior DB Jeremy Mims and senior DB Mike Schwanz.
    WHY THEY WON’T:
For all the seniors Novi has, many of them will be getting their first taste of being a varsity starter, which concerns Kellepourey Novi also won’t be very big, so if it can’t outquick teams, it could suffer.
OVERVIEW: One of the most consistent and solid programs this entire decade, look for Novi to once again be one of the better teams in the KLAA and a threat to go far in the state playoffs.
