2010 Schedule Change
There has been a change to Novi's 2010 football schedule.
The Wildcats were previously scheduled to open their season against the Milford Mavericks, but that has changed for still unknown reasons. Instead, they will now face the Farmington Hills Harrison Hawks. The game will take place at home on  August 27th. The two teams have never faced each other.
 
Novi has also found a week #9 opponent for the 2010 season. They will face Flint Carman-Ainsworth.

2010 Helmet Redesign
New head coach Todd Pennycuff has announced a slightly modified helmet design for the 2010 season.
The mask (previously white) will now be green. The shell will sport the traditional powercat logo newly trimed in black as well as a double Ravens/Titans style stripes also trimed in black. In addition, while somewhat subtle, the green will change from "Kelly" to "Forest".

Todd Pennycuff Named New Novi Head Coach
 The Novi Department of Interscholastic Athletics is proud to announce the hiring of Mr. Todd Pennycuff as just the 3rd Head Football Coach in Novi High School history. Mr. Pennycuff has been an educator within the Novi Community Schools since 1996 and is currently teaching within the Special Education Department.
Todd brings a wealth of experience to Novi, having coached football a total of 21 years. He began his coaching career at Southwest Baptist University where he started as a student assistant working primarily with linebackers. After 2 seasons, Todd became a graduate assistant where he coached the offensive backfield. During his final two seasons at Southwest Baptist, Todd served as a full-time assistant coach working with tackles, tight ends, quarterbacks and running backs. After coaching six years at the collegiate level, Todd began his high school coaching career in Hartland, working for former Novi Head Coach Tab Kellepourey. Through the years as an assistant coach, Todd worked extensively with both offense and defense, ultimately serving as both an offensive and defensive coordinator at different points in his career. In 2004 Todd was the Assistant Head Coach / Offensive Coordinator of the South Lyon Lions who won MHSAA District and Regional Championships. For the past four seasons Todd has been a Head Coach, at Dearborn Heights Crestwood in 2006 and for the past three seasons at South Lyon East High School where he started a brand new football program.

There will be a Football Parent & Player Meeting on
