JV Football Wildcats Hook Pirates 32-16

The Pinckney Pirates sailed into a rainy and cold Novi Stadium this week before being boarded by the JV Wildcats en route to Novi’s last victory of the season. The Wildcats finished up the season at 7-1-1 against a vastly improved Pinckney team. The game was a lesson in opportunities won and lost as 5 of the 7 touchdowns in the game were the direct result of turnovers.

Caked in mud, Novi dropped their final game of the season to host Pinckney, 22-3, last Friday to finish the season with an overall 3-6 record (3-2 KLAA Central).

Novi’s freshman football squad lost a hard fought game at home 32 – 20 to the Pinckney Pirates on October 22nd. It was the team’s final game of the season and they competed fierce determination. Pinckney got on the board first with a long run to take a 6 – 0 lead. The Novi Freshman responded with an impressive ofensive drive of their own. MS team Split The 8th grade team dropped a tough 16-14 decision to Northville Meads Mill last night. Ali Taha scored twice, on a 15 yard sprint to the endzone, and later on a 48 yard option pitch from Issac Burgess. Burgess also scored on a two point conversion. Matt Kulie, John Heslop, and Dino Aldo excelled on defense.
