Novi -- Playing before a large homecoming crowd at Novi, Austin White of Livonia Stevenson took the first handoff, headed toward a huge hole off of right tackle and fumbled.

Wildcats battle Spartans to 28-28 draw

The JV Wildcats traveled to Livonia Stevenson for a frustrating and exciting evening of turnover exchanges that witnessed a Novi lead vanish to tie the Spartans at 28. Novi exhibited uncharacteristic mental and execution mistakes that saw 6 of 12 possessions turn into opportunity for the Spartans in the form of the turnover. Freshman Defeat Spartans 20 - 6

The Novi Freshman football team took to the road on October 1st playing at Livonia Stevenson’s Spartan stadium. Novi’s freshman improved their record to 3 -2 -1 with an impressive 20 -6 win.

MS Week #2 The MS Varsity (8th grade) football team fell short, 22-20, over Walled Lake Banks last night. Travis Sparling scored on a 5 yd. run, and Ali Taha scored on 10 yd and 76 yd runs. Issac Burgess added the extra points. On defense, Dino Aldo and Taha recovered fumbles, and Scott Mc Clure, Alex Capara, Matt Kulie, and Darius Mc Cullough led the team in tackles. The next game will be at home, Wednesday against Walled Lake MS.
