Despite several missteps, Novi plowed on for two third-quarter touchdowns and a 23-0 win at South Lyon East.

The Cougars (0-3) were given every opportunity to succeed as Novi lost the ball four times on three fumbles and an interception, but East's youth and smaller roster was noticeable as the Wildcats (1-2) got their act together for a win over the second-year program.

Novi JV Wildcats attack Cougars 41-8

The Novi JV played host to South Lyon East football team with the ensuing cat fight over early and big for the Novi Wildcats.  The developing Cougars football program proved no match for the experienced JV Wildcats who struck early, showed an impressive aerial attack and played rock solid defense.

Freshman Wildcats Come Up Short Against Cougars

The Novi Freshman Football team lost a hard fought game to the South Lyon East  Cougar’s on September 10th at Wildcat Field.  For the second straight week the team’s opponents got off to a quick start with a long drive resulting in a touchdown before most of the fans were in their seats.  Novi answered with a long drive of their own.    The Novi ground game came to life with Michael Smith and John Mencer moving the chains.&#
