Novi hopes to stay undefeated on the road this year.

The Wildcats (9-1) will have to knock off undefeated Livonia Stevenson 7 p.m. Friday night to keep the streak alive and capture a district title.

"We've faced undefeated teams before," Novi head coach Tab Kellepourey said. "We're going to play a really good football team."

The Spartans have an explosive offense. They have scored less than 35 points just twice, both in the last two weeks.

Stevenson knocked off Brighton 14-0 in the regular season finale, and beat Plymouth 27-21 in the opening round of district play.

The Novi defense is going to have its hands full, but Kellepourey has seen his defense come on strong all season.

"Our defense has been tremendous," Kellepourey said. "They tough, physical and are going to hit our opponent."
